Langridge guides global fund for Lloyd George
Lloyd George Management has launched a global emerging markets fund for Kathryn Langridge.
The LG global emerging markets high yield equity fund is a Dublin-domiciled Ucits III fund. It will hold quality companies with strong cashflows and business models in which the manager sees growth potential. She will focus on valuation when selecting stocks.
Langridge says: “Typically growth companies that pay attractive dividends tend to understand the importance of efficient capital management, they are cash-generative and have high standards of corp- orate governance and transparency.”
The fund will aim for both capital growth and income. The group expects the fund’s dividend yield to be a significant contributor to returns.
Langridge joined Lloyd George in September 2007 after spending 17 years at Invesco Perpetual. At the time of her departure, Langridge was head of international equity products and ran a trio of vehicles, including the £1.5bn international equity fund. She also managed global smaller companies and Asia funds at the firm.
