Kames Capital poaches multi-manager property team from ING REIM

Kames Capital has bolstered its property capability with the appointment of a trio of property multi-managers from ING Real Estate Investment Management UK
Mark Bunney, Matt Day and Tony Yu managed more than £2bn of assets including the Osiris property fund and a number of institutional mandates.
The trio, which have more 30 years experience in the industry, will report to head of property investment Phil Clark.
Kames Capital chief executive Andrew Fleming says: “These appointments mark a major milestone in the evolution of Kames Capital. Mark and his team are recognised as leaders in the field of property investment fund of funds and their appointment is consistent with our strategy of building scale in our chosen investment specialisms which includes property.”
Aegon Asset Management rebranded as Kames Capital last month. The group says the rebrand is part of its plans to differentiate its specialist investment management business.
