Jupiter poaches Investec’s Tevenan for new sales role

 Jupiter Asset Management has hired Investec’s John Tevenan as sales director for global financial institutions.

Tenevan will join Jupiter in the May 2010 and the new role will see him responsible for helping develop relationships among global wealth management businesses.
 
Tenevan has more than 18 years’ experience in asset management. He has been UK sales director at Investec Asset Management since September 2005. He has also held positions at DWS Investments, Aegon Asset Management and Fleming Asset Management.
 
Jupiter Asset Management international executive director Kevin Scott says: “The global wealth management sector has great growth potential and we feel it is appropriate to add further resource to this area of our business. We are delighted that John will be joining Jupiter in order to strengthen our relationships in this area.”
 
Tenevan says: “During the past 25 years, Jupiter has established itself as one of the leading fund managers in the UK and there are significant opportunities for the company to build its market share among global financial institutions. I am delighted to be joining the business to help it achieve these aims.”
