Jacques joins Allfunds in expansion role

Allfunds Bank has appointed Laurie Jaques as head of sales development for the UK and Ireland.
It says the appointment is part of a bid to increase its presence in these markets under its international expansion plans.
Jaques has been head of sales at Henderson and head of third party distribution at Baring Asset Management. He also worked at Cofunds, which he joined before launch as director of sales, and Skandia where he was involved with the development and promotion of the wrap proposition alongside his role as head of structured product sales.
Jaques will report to Allfunds head of UK and Ireland Alan Gadd.
Gadd says: “The UK and Ireland has become an increasingly significant region for Allfunds in terms of the opportunities to develop business with both domestic clients and those focused internationally.
“Laurie’s deep understanding of the asset management side of the industry as well as his practical experience of the platform arena gives him perfect insight into the business activities and the future platform needs of prospective clients.”
