Ignis marketing head Rob Page quits for Ardevora

Ignis Asset Management head of marketing Rob Page is leaving the firm to join former Liontrust colleagues Jeremy Lang and William Pattisson at Ardevora Asset Management.
Page, who joined Ignis early last year, will be a partner at the firm, which launched in January 2010.
Deputy head of marketing James Senior will step into Page’s role at Ignis.
Lang and Pattisson left Liontrust early in January 2009 prompting a slump in assets at the boutique. Lang and Pattisson currently offer a UK equity income fund, equity fund and global equity fund.
Page says: “I am delighted to be working with Jeremy and Bill again. The addition of Ben Fitchew and Gianluca Monaco as portfolio managers has really added strength in depth.
“I was attracted by the quality of investment talent at Ardevora and I am really excited about the evolution of the firm’s investment process. They have developed three distinctive investment strategies and are bringing something genuinely different to market.”
