Former Skandia CEO Jamie MacLeod to join Berry Asset Management

Former Skandia chief executive officer Jamie MacLeod is to join wealth manager Berry Asset Management.

MacLeod joins on September 1 as CEO and will also take a 20 per cent stake in the firm which he will buy from Swiss Private bank Bordier and Cie.

Company founder and managing director James Berry becomes executive chairman of the business, which currently has £650m of assets under management.

MacLeod is known for his time at Skandia, having set up the investment management arm of the firm. He left the firm in 2009 and was replaced by Nils Bolmstrand.
