Fidelity appoints Campbell as head of UK retail marketing

Fidelity International has appointed Alistair Campbell as head of UK retail marketing.

Campbell will be responsible for the marketing team focussing on both the IFA and wholesale channels for both FundsNetwork and Fidelity’s own proprietary fund range.

Campbell has 25 years’ financial marketing experience. He joined Invesco Perpetual in 1996 as head of marketing before being promoted to head of product marketing, development and communications in 2003. He left the firm in 2009 to set up his own product advisory consultancy business.

He joins Fidelity on June 1, 2010 and will report to UK managing director Gary Shaughnessy.
