ishares appoints new head of sales

ishares has appointed David Gardner as head of sales for the EMEA region.
Gardner will be based in London and will report to managing director and head of EMEA for ishares, Joe Linhares.
Gardner joined ishares in 2000 and was most recently head of sales for northern Europe.
Linhares says: “The growth potential for ETFs throughout EMEA is enormous, and the region is a key market for iShares as investors continue to develop their understanding of ETFs and deploy the funds in new and innovative ways.”
