Dalton-Brown quits FundsNetwork
Fidelity FundsNetwork head David Dalton-Brown is leaving the firm after four years.
Dalton-Brown has been at Fidelity since 2005 after joining from Prudential, where he was business development director. Fidelity says it will look at both internal and external candidates in its search for a replacement.
Fidelity International managing director of UK defined contribution and retail Gary Shaughnessy says: “David has run FundsNetwork for nearly five years through a period of substantial growth in assets, from around £1bn to more than £15bn today.
“Having overseen the initiative to combine the Funds- Network and DC platforms, he has decided that this is a good moment to take a short break and then seek a new challenge.”
Finance and Technology Research Centre director Ian McK-enna says: “David has been there some time and I am not surprised he is looking for a change. But whatever he decides to do next, probably the one thing you can be sure of is it will be significant.”
