Dalton-Brown: Barclays’ move

Barclays Wealth has recruited former Fidelity FundsNetwork chief David Dalton-Brown as head of Barclays Wealth Funds.

He left Fidelity FundsNetwork in October after five years at the firm. He will be responsible for the establishment and maintenance of Barclays Wealth’s fund ranges, implementation of the product, client service delivery and the quality of the control environment.

He will report to Thomas Rostron, head of Barclays Wealth Managers Europe, the asset management arm of Barclays Wealth.

Dalton-Brown previously worked as a business development director at Prudential for two years and also held positions at KPMG and Norwich Union.

Threesixty partner Phil Young says: “Dalton-Brown’s experience in the platform industry will no doubt be invaluable to Barclays Wealth, which already has a platform in place powered by Focus Business Solutions.”
