Cofunds and Threadneedle announce long term partnership
Cofunds and Threadneedle have agreed a long term partnership arrangement and are working together to plan and deliver their support to the adviser market in 2010.
Cofunds signed an agreement with Schroders over pricing terms in October with reports circulating that further deals were in the pipeline.
Cofunds says a key part of the planning process will focus on how Threadneedle can tie in its activity to its recent strategic tie up with the independent research house OBSR, to deliver a range of researched fund solutions in 2010.
Director of fund manager relationships Russell Lancaster says: “We will be working with a range of fund managers in 2010 to enhance the level of support we give advisers and we are clearly delighted to be working very closely with Threadneedle. This will ensure that we are able to provide advisers with a proposition which supports their businesses and clients now in readiness for RDR.”
