Close hires IFA business development manager for North

Close Asset Management has appointed Edward Sale as business development manager for the Northern region.
Sale joins from Standard Financial, where he worked for eight years, contributing to the network’s business development plans in recruiting IFAs.
In his new role he will assume responsibility for developing relationships throughout the North, particularly in Manchester, Leeds and Sheffield and will assist in the roll out of Close’s discretionary fund management service to IFAs.
Head of wealth management Steven Mendel says: “Edward’s time working within both an IFA network and a variety of private client asset managers has provided him with an invaluable blend of investment management experience coupled with an in depth knowledge of the IFA market - this was key in our decision to recruit him.”
