Bluefin’s Ian Shipway leaves firm

Bluefin Advisory Services head of strategic development Ian Shipway has left the firm.
Shipway was part of the central team responsible for developing the client proposition for the Bluefin Wealth Management arm and was chair of its investment committee.
The firm would not comment on the reason for Shipway’s departure or his plans and said it was too early to say who would be replacing him.
Bluefin’s private client division is headed by Suvan de Soysa and managed on a regional basis by Julie Lord and Mike Godfrey.
A spokesman says: “There is no impact on the way that is currently managed.”
