BlackRock corporate bond fund manager quits
BlackRock head of sterling portfolios for fundamental fixed income Paul Shuttleworth has quit the firm after 11 years.
Ian Winship will take on the role of head of sterling portfolios from Shuttleworth. Winship is currently a senior manager within the sterling portfolio team and will continue to manage BlackRock’s recently launched absolute return bond fund.
Shuttleworth also managed the £115m corporate bond fund. The management of the portfolio, which is currently first quartile in the IMA sterling corporate bond sector, will pass to Simon Blundell, who recently joined BlackRock from Aviva Investors where he was head of institutional credit portfolio management.
