Bestinvest launches new Select platform

Bestinvest is launching a new execution-only platform proposition powered by SEI.
The Select service platform and Best Sipp will include investment trusts, shares and exchange traded funds as well as a full range of other investments.
Bestinvest chief executive Peter Hall says the platform, which will have around 1,800 funds, will offer families with more than £50,000 in assets an annual bonus of up to 0.5 per cent of eligible funds, including assets within a Sipp. The average portfolio is expected to attract around 0.25 per cent bonus a year.
Clients using the Select service will pay no dealing fees on funds and £7.50 on share dealing. The firm will also pay any transfer exit fees up to £500 per investor.
