Hall picked as head of multi-manager at Schroders
Schroders has appointed Rob Hall as its new head of multi-manager.
Hall, who joined Schroders in March, will retain his position as head of manager selection while taking on new portfolio management and client service responsibilities. Hall will co-manage the £127.2m Schroders cautious managed, the £85.5m Schroders strategic balanced and the £28.5m Schroders high alpha funds with Jane Turner. He will report to head of multi-asset investments Johanna Kyrklund.
In February, former head of multi-manager Andrew Yeadon stood down plans to merge the multi-manager and multi-asset teams were annouced.
The Schroders multi-asset team manages £35bn of assets.
The Schroders multi-manager high alpha and strategic balanced funds are both four quartile over three years, while the cautious managed fund is second quartile over three years, according to FE Trustnet.
Schroders managing director of UK intermediary business Robyn Stoakley says: “With the introduction of RDR late next year, we believe multi-asset and multi-manager portfolios will become an increasingly important investment option for IFAs.”
