Invesco reshuffles fixed income team

Invesco Perpetual has made a number of fund manager changes within its fixed income team.
Michael Matthews and Stuart Edwards will replace Paul Read and Paul Causer on the firm’s global bond fund. Matthews will also captain the fixed interest pension fund previously headed by the duo.
Edwards will assume management of the Invesco Perpetual money fund, global bond fund and sterling reserve fund.
The changes are effective from March 31 but the funds’ strategy will remain unchanged.
Co head of fixed income Paul Causer says: “We have always worked together closely as a team and Michael and Stuart have been integral to the successful management of our funds. Paul Read and I see this move as a natural and logical progression for individuals of their calibre and experience and have complete confidence that the interests of investors continue in excellent hands.”
