Skandia launches online Isa tool
Skandia has launched an online tool for financial advisers to help them build and manage their own tax year end Isa campaigns.
The tool enables advisers to quickly identify which of their clients have any outstanding Isa allowance for the 2009/ 2010 tax year.
Clients aged 50 who have an increased annual allowance of £10,200 can be identified separately.
Analysis by Skandia shows that investors on the Skandia Investment Solutions platform have a total of over £1.7bn in unused Isa allowances this tax year.
Once clients have been identified, advisers can recommend an appropriate investment solution and commission option and the tool will then automatically complete a bespoke mailing pack which can be edited and branded with a company logo if required.
Advisers can use the tool to identify clients with investments already held in a Skandia Collective Investment Account. This allows them to select the ‘Bed and Isa’ option where clients sell existing holdings in their CIA and re-buy them within their Isa.
They can choose a tailored portfolio of investment funds for each client or opt for Skandia’s range of risk-rated multi-manager funds, Spectrum.
Proposition marketing manager Sophie Lenton says: “The tax year end tool is designed to streamline the process as much as possible for financial advisers to enable them to quickly and easily ensure their clients are utilising their annual Isa allowance before it’s too late.”
