SFO hires Robert Goldspink as non-executive director

The Serious Fraud Office has appointed Robert Goldspink as a non-executive director.

Goldspink is former head of litigation and arbitration in the London office of US law firm Morgan Lewis. According to the SFO, he has many years experience of international investigations and disputes, often involving fraud. Goldspink retired from the firm last year.

SFO director Richard Alderman says:”I am delighted that Bob has decided to join us. He has a wealth of experience and is well respected in his field.

“The SFO will benefit greatly from his legal expertise and his insight into customer focus.”

Goldspink joins current SFO non-executive directors Dame Elizabeth Neville and Alan Graham. Harriett Maunsell OBE, former chairman of the Occupational Pensions Regulatory Authority, retired as non-executive SFO director in December.
