Death of ex-Cofunds distribution chief Campbell

Former Cofunds managing director of distribution Mark Campbell has died.
He held a variety of senior roles within the UK retail fund management industry in a career that spanned more than 20 years.
After a spell in advertising with McCann Erickson, Campbell spent 10 years in sales and marketing at Baillie Gifford before joining Fidelity as UK sales director in 1998. He joined JP Morgan as managing director of sales in 2001, with responsibility for investment and hedge fund distribution in both the UK and offshore markets.
Campbell joined Cofunds in 2005 to oversee the platform’s marketing, sales and product development strategy.
His most recent role was as head of distribution at Wells Fargo subsidiary European Credit Management as well as running his own consult- ancy, Holton, which advised clients on distribution in the UK and across Europe.
