New distribution appointments at Axa PPP healthcare

Nick Groom has been appointed distribution director of AXA PPP healthcare, with responsibility for intermediated and corporate business as well as for AXA UK’s health and wellbeing support business, AXA ICAS.
Groom joins AXA PPP healthcare from AXA Life, where he worked since 2003, most recently as distribution and marketing director for its corporate business.
Mark Howes, managing director of Sun Life Direct, is taking on the additional responsibility of leading acquisition and retention for AXA PPP healthcare’s direct personal business, enabling the healthcare business to utilise his experience in consumer direct distribution.
