FSA may publish rules on RDR 'by end of June'
The FSA is believed to be planning to release the next set of rules on how the Retail Distribution Review will apply to the corporate market at the end of this month.
The regulator will publish a Policy Statement and final rules for Consultancy Charging in the corporate pensions market at the end of June, according to sources close to Corporate Adviser.
The regulator had said originally that the final set of rules would be out in the third quarter of 2010. A spokesman for the FSA said that no date had yet been fixed for publication.
A source says: “If they do get these papers out early then it will of course be useful. The sooner we can get our hands on them and know where the market stands, the better.”
