Aviva adds temporary accident cover to IP product

Aviva is enhancing its Income Protection Solutions product to include a
temporary accident cover benefit that provides up to 90 days’ accident cover
whilst the policy is being underwritten.
Income Protection Solutions also now offers an exclusions Discount which sees customer’s premiums discounted if they have an exclusion (including partial) for mental health and/or spinal conditions, and increased commission, up to 150 per cent of initial, compared to 130 per cent previously. Aviva recently introduced electronic application and tele-interviewing in what it describes as a bid to improve the customer experience both at application and claims stage.
