Back Aifa's levy fight
FSCS
It is good to see that Aifa is standing by IFAs over the Keydata levy which could cost us very dearly.
I find it strange that financial opinion does not seem to carry the same weight as legal opinion.
Anything I and my colleagues say or are deemed to say ends up with us paying compen sation.
The legal profession appears to be able to make any state ments, give any opinion and then avoid taking any responsibility.
I hope that the IFA fraternity will gather behind Chris Cummings, write to their MPs and ensure that not only the Keydata claim is dealt with in an ethical and proper manner but also some of the other rather dubious attributes of not only the FSCS but also the FSA are dealt with similarly.

This is very worrying indeed. It sounds like the time to stand and fight this totally immoral system as otherwise IFAs will be on the line for more and more levies. If you havent backed Regulatory Legal, get involved, put your money up and stop sitting on the fence.
