AWD appoints head of development and training

AWD Chase de Vere has appointed Carl Pimlott as head of professional development and training.
Pimlott will oversee all training ahead of the retail distribution review, which includes all advisers reaching the Diploma Level 4 qualification by the end of 2012.
Pimlott joined AWD in 2001 and was most recently head of sales development.
AWD Chase De Vere director Martyn Laverick says: “Carl’s appointment is one of a number of measures we have taken to ensure that we are fully prepared to meet the requirements of the RDR. These measures will help us to achieve our aim of being the leading firm of Independent Financial Advisers in the UK.”
