Martin joins F&C in retail role
Martin, who was business development director at Nucleus, co-founded the platform in 2006 and left in June this year.
He says: "Strong client focus on investment performance, widened access through platforms and legacy life company assets seeking proper management generate terrific opportunities for well organised asset management firms. F&C is ideally placed to capitalise on these market changes thanks to its heritage and framework ."
F&C head of UK retail John Yule says: "Having recently gained our independence, F&C is very much on the front foot again."
Finance and Technology Research Centre director Ian McKenna says: "Martin has clearly built an excellent understanding of the drivers of what does and does not work in the wrap and platform market and will be able to bring a perspective that few other fund management houses will be able to equal. It looks like a smart move for all involved."
