Free seminars offer training courses on structured products
Research tool website structuredproductreview.com is now offering free structured product training courses for advisers.
The firm initially launched a series of subsidised one-day course for IFAs across the UK but with the help of sponsors is now able to offer them free.
Courses in April will take place in Birmingham, Bristol and London with events in May in Belfast, Edinburgh and Manchester.
The site launched in October and last week attracted its 1,000th registered user. It is designed to provide an easy means of structured product comparison for IFAs and help drive transparency in the market for investors.
It features 47 current plans with searches filtered by growth/income, index, protection, Isa availability, counterparty and provider and includes a section of preferred plans, a guide to terminology and an growing education section which features details of the free seminars.
Founder and Lowes Financial Management managing director Ian Lowes says: “Industry reaction to the website from IFAs and product providers has been highly favour-able which accounts for its growing popularity. We have created a service for IFAs who want to give their clients access to this growing area of the investment market and they need a fast and reliable means to help them assess the suitability of available products for their clients’ portfolios.”
Number of nationally recognised level four qualifications or above held by IFA Promotion members in March: 15,757.
