Tenet poaches Lloyds UK Wealth regulatory manager

Tenet has appointed Lloyds Banking Group UK Wealth regulatory developments manager Simon Thomas as head of regulatory policy.
Thomas will be responsible for policy in all of Tenet’s regulated businesses as well as ensuring there is a helpdesk for clients. He will also oversee compliance audit activities and the dispute resolution team.
Thomas says: “The major challenge at the moment is of course to help our clients complete their RDR business transformation and deliver sound, business-focused guidance to ensure compliance.”
Tenet has also appointed David Pearce as head of training, Pearce will take responsibility for group training and play a role in delivery of the group’s overall adviser development programme.
Pearce was most recently working for Friends Life with IFAs and the Chartered Insurance Institute.
Tenet distribution and development director Keith Richards (pictured) says: “These appointments further enhance Tenet’s support for both AR and DA clients and form another part of out on-going transformation programme.”
