Succession appoints quintet
IFA consolidator Succession Advisory Services has made five senior appointments to its team as it looks to speed up its transition programme.
The group, which has firms representing £2.5bn of assets under management, has appointed Frank Dixon, Richard McGarvey and Ian Smith as relationship directors.
Dixon joins from Zurich Financial Services, while former Thinc recruitment director Richard McGarvey joins from Acumen, an independent consultancy specialising in change management for financial services. Smith joins from 2Plan where he was a recruitment director.
Succession has also appointed Keith Brown and Martin Vaughan to its newly formed implementation team. The pair will report to director Stuart Anderson to support transitioning member businesses.
The appointments come as part of a £1m investment by the firm to accelerate the transition of its member firms.
Succession Advisory Services chief executive Simon Chamberlain says: “With strategic alliances in place with firms representing £2.5billion in assets under management, we have made the decision to accelerate our programme of recruitment and transition for IFA firms looking to secure their futures in the face of regulatory change, and build capital value. These five appointments add to the formidable skill set and experience of Succession’s team.”
