Skandia makes two senior sales appointments

Skandia has appointed Andy Davies as director of adviser sales and Steve Powell as director of corporate partners.
The roles share responsibility for Skandia’s business consultants who work with advisers at individual firms, nationals and networks.
Powell was previously director of sales, national accounts and has been at Skandia for 16 years. Prior to Skandia, he was development director at Prolific Financial Services, having started his career as broker consultant at Sun Life Assurance, where he held both pension specialist and sales management roles.
Andy Davies previously had the role of UK regional director for Skandia. He has worked within the Skandia sales team for 16 years.
Chief development officer Peter Mann says: “As we work to evolve our support for advisers, Andy and Steve’s experience and knowledge will be essential. They will help in carrying forward the best of our established services as well as bringing in-depth understanding of advisers’ businesses as we introduce new services to meet the changing needs of advisers.”
