SimplyBiz appoints joint managing directors

SimplyBiz has appointed marketing director Matt Timmins and operations director Neil Stevens as joint managing directors of the SimplyBiz Group.
The appointments, which take effect immediately, follow the death two weeks ago of Ian Thorneycroft, who held the position since the launch of SimplyBiz in 2002.
SimplyBiz chairman Ken Davy says: “Both Matt and Neil have already played a major part in the development and outstanding success of SimplyBiz and they now have the opportunity to use their dynamism and obvious talents to take the group to the next level of success. I am extremely excited by the prospect of working with them in their new roles.”
Timmins says: “I am thoroughly delighted to take on the challenge, with Neil, of driving this exceptional company forward once again. It is our job now to retain the great culture and ethos we have at SimplyBiz whilst maximising on the potential to grow the business and enhance our offering still further.”
SimplyBiz says further announcements regarding organisational changes and responsibilities will follow in due course.

As a member I can say that its always nice to see "nice" people promoted and this can only reflect on the quality of the group.
