RSM Bentley Jennison acquires Hornbuckles' IFA arm

RSM Bentley Jennison Financial Management had bought the IFA arm of Sipp provider Hornbuckle Mitchell, its third acquisition this year.

RSM has acquired the IFA division for an undiclosed sum.

Hornbuckle Mitchell says following the sale it will now focus on its core invested pensions business.

Hornbuckle Mitchell director Viv Belcher joins the RSM management team as part of the deal.

RSM Bentley Jennison Financial Management partner and head John White (pictured) says: “This strategic acquisition demonstrates our continued commitment to strengthen our position in the financial services market; giving clients of both firms access to high quality specialist advisers. We are delighted to welcome the team to the firm.”

Hornbuckle Mitchell managing director David White says: “We have had a long and well established relationship with RSM Bentley Jennison spanning many years. We are extremely pleased that our advisers are joining such a high quality and ambitious financial advisory group.

“We are confident that our clients will benefit from this move and they will continue to receive high quality services from both their existing IFAs and enjoy additional benefits of being with a RSM.”

In July RSM acquired Abercombie Pension and Investment Planning Ltd.
