Pru distribution director Andy Curran leaves

Prudential distribution director Andy Curran has left the firm to seek “new challenges”.

Curran left the provider at the end of last week. A Prudential spokesman says Curran has “something in the pipeline” but he does not know details of his next role.

Curran has not been replaced and Pru says the distribution team will now report directly to Prudential UK and Europe deputy chief executive Barry O’Dwyer.

A Prudential spokesman says: “Andy is moving onto new things. He has been with the Pru on and off for 10 years and it was a simple case of him wanting new challenges, there is nothing more to it than that.

“There is great strength within the distribution team, which will report directly to Barry O’Dwyer. There will be no change in terms of Pru’s distribution strategy as a result of Andy’s departure.”

  • Good luck, Andy! Do I really care? No! If the FSA had closed and all banks were to be regulated in a proper manner and told the real meaning of TCF, yes- this would be startling news!

  • Andy Curran will be missed by Pru, any good hard working committed member of any team are difficult to find.
    Good luck for the future.
