Perspective acquires Chessman & Partners

IFA consolidator Perspective Financial Group has made its second acquisition in 2010 after buying Chessman & Partners.

The acquisition of the Buckinghamshire IFA brings the total number of firms within Perspective to 14, while the firm now has £1bn of group funds under management.

Chessman & Partners was launched in 1980 and has over 6,000 clients. The business is split into two teams covering life and pensions and capital investment.

Perspective Financial Group managing director Damian Keeling says: “Firms who join Perspective are not just looking for the up-front payout and security but are also buying in to the overall proposition which can help them develop their range of services and increase their profitability.

“We continue to broaden Perspective’s offering as we cater for the needs of our individual firms.”
