Origen links with Staffcare to offer benefits portal

Origen Financial Services is setting up a benefits portal after signing a partnership agreement with employee benefits software company Staffcare.

Origen is making use of the Staffcare software platform to offer the Origen Benefits Portal, which will offer a suite of online tools to help employees with benefits communications and administration.

The module will cover numerous areas such as implementation and creation of benefits, salary sacrifice and flexible benefit programmes.

Director of client services Warren Page says the firm wants to remain one of the leaders in reward communication and education. He says: “Many emp-loyers are concerned and confused by the complexities and cost of employee benefits and looking to improve their return on investment by ensuring that their employees have full visibility and a greater appreciation of the value of those benefits.

“Our new proposition will empower employees to self-serve and access benefits information on demand and provide employers with real-time management information. It will also provide a suite of administration tools to help them improve efficiencies and cut costs from benefits administration.”

Staffcare was developed by internet solutions company Screen Pages in 1997 and provides managed e-business services to the financial and retail sectors. The firm is a privatelyowned business, with private equity finance from specialist technology investors Herald Ventures.

It currently has over 200 companies using its technology for rewards communication and benefits administration.
