Sanlam makes senior appointments to IFA distribution team

Sanlam has made two senior appointments to its UK IFA distribution department.
Former Canada Life senior tax consultant and manager Chris Allatt has been appointed Sanlam UK senior technical consultant while former Buckles Investment Services investment solutions manager Rick Eling has been appointed Sanlam UK head of IFA investments.
South African financial services firm Sanlam, which owns Buckles Investment Services, Merchant Investors and Punter Southall also has owning interests in both Intrinsic and Nucleus. The firm launched its IFA distribution department earlier this year.
Sanlam UK head of distribution Nigel Speirs says: “These two key appointments bolster the team and bring our range of market leading products and services to IFAs and their clients. Chris and Rick have important roles to play in building the relationships upon which our philosophy of partnering with IFAs is founded, most notably in a post-RDR world”.
