Lighthouse appoints group risk director

Lighthouse has appointed Mark Stuart Ross to the board as group risk director.
Ross joined the group at the start of 2008 and has been company secretary since March of the same year.
Prior to joining Lighthouse, Ross led the Ernst & Young South West Regulatory and Risk Practice. He has over fifteen years of compliance and risk management experience gained with regulators, in senior industry positions and various consulting positions.
These include acting as head of IMRO compliance at AXA Sun Life, and head of UK compliance at 3i. He is a graduate of Bristol University and a Chartered Accountant.
Lighthouse chairman David Hickey says: “This new role reflects the need for strategic risk management to be embedded at the heart of regulated organisations.
“Mark possesses considerable risk management, governance and regulatory expertise and the board joins me in welcoming him.”
