Lighthouse and Unison in financial advice deal
Trade union Unison has appointed Lighthouse Group subsidiary LighthouseTemple to supply financial advice to its 1.3 million members on an exclusive basis.
Lighhouse says the deal will run for three years and builds on an existing relationship between the national arm of the group and the union.
LighthouseTemple managing director Paul Harris says: “The contract gives LighthouseTemple access to over 1 million Unison members, and we look forward to continuing to provide high levels of advice.
“This contract win comes shortly after we were chosen on a competitive basis to provide financial advice to all employees of the Royal Mint and shows the growing success of Lighthouse in securing new clients for its national advisers.”
Unison national membership services officer Paul Barker says: “We are pleased to have appointed Lighthouse in this capacity, as the group’s quality of advice has been high over the last three years. We are confident that Lighthouse will continue to provide a good standard of advice to Unison’s members.”
