Finansec joins Sesame
Sesame has added Epping wealth management firm Finansec as a network member.
Finansec has a total of 25 advisers covering life insurance, pensions, investment and mortgages. It says it is looking to add 100 advisers over the next two years.
Managing director Steve Duggan says: “Joining Sesame will enable us to create better value for our clients. We have been impressed by Sesame’s regulatory expertise and the learning support available to help our business meet the requirements of the new RDR world.”
Sesame managing director Nick Kelly says: “We have a proven track record in helping firms to grow as their business and client base evolves. Finansec has exciting plans for how it wants to take its business forward in the future.”
Baronwoth Investment director Colin Jackson says: “I would have thought a firm with 20 advisers would have the resources to bring its own compliance people in rather than looking to join a network. Joining a network would seem more appropriate for smaller firms.”
Sesame has 1,300 member firms with around 2,500 advisers. Around 1,500 directly authorised firms buy support services from Bankhall.
