Culinary cast cook up £11,000 for Help for Heroes
Budding master chefs from across the financial services sector cooked up a storm to raise money for charity Help for Heroes last week. The team cooked a three-course meal for over 100 diners at Swithins Wine Bar and guests paid what they felt the meal was worth.
The night, organised by Honister Capital strategy director Alan Easter, raised around £11,000 for the charity.
In July, Money Marketing editor Paul McMillan and news editor Nicole Blackmore are taking part in a charity cycle ride from London to Paris. The ride aims to raise around £50,000 for Help for Heroes. If you would like to sponsor the ride, please visit http://www.doitforcharity.com/NicoleB
