Consumer Panel member Nick Lord to retire
The Financial Services Consumer Panel has announced that Nick Lord is retiring from the panel and four new appointments will take effect in January 2011.
Lord will leave the panel at the end of December, having been a member for six years.
In January, former Citizens Advice chief executive David Harker, inner city youth charity Fairbridge West manager Frances Harrison, MoneySavingExpert.com web editor Dan Plant and HM Treasury Financial Inclusion Taskforce member Faith Reynolds will join the panel following FSA approval.
FSCP chair Adam Phillips says: “We welcome the new members joining us in 2011 who bring a wealth of talent and experience to the consumer panel.
“The panel’s new members will ensure that the panel maintains a wide spread of experience and knowledge across the financial services sector and help keep the protection of consumers at the heart of developments in the new regulatory structure.
“We are, of course, sorry to lose Nick Lord from the panel. He has made a huge contribution to our work over the years, including chairing one of our working groups. We wish him well for the future.”
