Close AM appoints head of financial planning

Close Asset Management has appointed Beverley Lavin as head of financial planning.
She will be reporting to Steven Mendel, head of UK wealth management and will be based in the Bristol office.
Lavin joins from Brewin Dolphin Ltd, where she spent five years, culminating as the national head of financial planning. Prior to joining Brewin Dolphin, Beverley was a regional financial planning business unit head at Grant Thornton, Accountants and Business Advisers.
Lavin will be responsible for promoting Close’s financial planning services and also further recruitment within the department.
