Chartwell launches direct offering

IFA firm Chartwell has launched a direct to consumer offering.

The new direct advice division, which combines adviser software technology with Chartwell’s Investor Centre platform, has been launched following an extensive client segmentation process within the Chartwell Group.

The service will now advise a client bank of over 2,000 that were previously looked after by the private client division on a face to face basis. Instead, clients now have the option of contacting an adviser should they need one.

Chartwell Direct director Rob Hudson says: “We’re leading the way in this new method of advice provision and believe that this type of service can provide easy to access advice that is so lacking in the market currently .

“We also believe that the skill and knowledge involved with providing a high quality advice service remotely is at least equal to that needed when meeting clients face-to-face.

“Never mind ‘new model’, this is ‘next generation’ advice giving.”
