Cardy joins software company
Former Professional Partnerships principal Gill Cardy has joined financial technology consultancy Bluecoat Software as head of proposition.
She will be responsible for the development of Bluecoat’s practice management system FinPlan.
Cardy set up Professional Partnerships in 1998 to deliver a fee-based financial planning service.
She is a fellow of the Personal Finance Society and a former member of the FSA’s Smaller Businesses Practitioner Panel.
Bluecoat managing director Mark Skelding says: “Bluecoat has seen unrivalled business growth across the past couple of years and Gill’s appointment will help offer our broad range of clients some of the brightest and best thinking from one of the leading figures in the sector.”
Cardy says: “I have been involved in a range of projects during my financial services career but I felt it was a unique offer and a challenging opportunity. We have a very similar business vision and feel we can achieve even greater commercial successes for the company.”
