Buckles chief executive Nigel Speirs joins Sanlam

Buckles chief executive Nigel Speirs has been appointed head of distribution at Sanlam.
A Buckles spokeswoman says Speirs joins the South African insurer on a part-time basis.
In April last year Sanlam bought a 60 per cent stake in the IFA firm. Sanlam’s acquisitions in the UK over the past four years include Merchant Investors, the operations of Nucleus, Principal and Intrinsic.
