Bluefin sells independent trustee business to Pitmans

Pitmans Trustees has acquired Bluefin’s independent trusteeship business, SBJ Professional Trustees.
On January 1, both the business and the staff of SBJPT were transferred to Pitmans.
Pitmans director Richard Butcher says: “We are delighted with the acquisition of the business of SBJPT.
“This proves that we are a major player with ambition. Our long term growth objectives are entirely consistent with our aim of providing excellent long term governance to our clients.”
Bluefin’s Peter Gray adds: “We are confident that the independent trusteeship business will flourish under separate ownership with a firm which specialises in this area.”
