Black backs 24-hour 85-mile challenge

Olympic silver medallist Roger Black, MBE, is urging financial services staff to sign up for the Scottish Widows Parish Walk 2010 Charity Challenge.
Widows has teamed up with Money Marketing for the annual 85-mile walk around the Isle of Man.
This year’s event is scheduled for June 26-27 and financial services companies are invited to enter teams of four people.
Black says: “I am not a race-walker but I can see that the physical and mental challenges are something you really need to prepare for. Once I learned what was involved, walking 85 miles within 24 hours, I understood what a significant challenge the Parish Walk represents.”
