Bestinvest acquires financial services arm of Haines Watts

Bestinvest has acquired Haines Watts Financial Services in a deal that brings the group’s total client assets over £4bn.
The acquisition provides Bestinvest with a national network of advisers in more than 20 locations across the country. The combined firm also has in excess of 150 staff members and 70,000 clients.
Bestinvest CEO John Spiers says: ““HWFS has an excellent client base and a team of highly skilled and experienced Consultants. We welcome the prospect of being able to offer face-to-face advice to some of our clients nationally through the HWFS network.”
HWFS managing director Richard Dawes says: ““We considered linking up with a number of organisations but Bestinvest impressed us with the strength of their investment offering and similar culture. The combination of both organisations will ensure that our clients continue to receive the best possible financial planning from our team of highly qualified and experienced Consultants, backed up by an award winning investment proposition.”
