AWD Chase de Vere in Quality deal for referrals

AWD Chase de Vere has teamed up with law firm Quality Solicitors to provide a reciprocal referral service for clients.
Quality Solicitors is a nationwide business of around 200 legal firms based in over 350 locations.
AWD marketing director Martyn Laverick says the deal does not offer financial incentives for referrals from either firm. He says: “This partnership is focused solely on providing the best overall service for our respective clients. There are no other considerations and no financial incentives for us to use the services of Quality Solicitors or vice versa.”
AWD adds that it will continue to work with a number of individual solicitor firms that the group has existing relationships with.
AWD senior manager David Rawcliffe says: “The last couple of years have seen the advent of a number of new regulations which has made the need for adviser and law firms to be more closely associated apparent.”
Quality Solicitors chief executive Craig Holt adds: “There is a strong compatibility between legal services and financial planning solutions and we need to offer both to provide a better overall service to our clients.”
Ian Muirhead, managing director of Sifa, the representative body for solicitor IFAs, says: “We should expect the two disciplines to become more aligned in this joint venture fashion in the future.”
