Andy Curran joins Aviva

Aviva has appointed former Prudential intermediated distribution director Andy Curran as UK life retail and partnerships director.
Curran will report to Graham Boffey, Aviva’s life distribution director.
He will lead Aviva’s life retail and partnership divisions, shaping and delivering the strategy for life retail customers.
He will also work closely with Ant Middle, Aviva’s UK strategic partnerships director, on the life contribution to Aviva’s key UK strategic relationships.
In February, Money Marketing revealed that Curran had left Prudential.
Boffey says: “I am delighted that Andy is joining the team. He brings a wealth of experience and deep industry knowledge. As life retail and partnerships director, Andy’s understanding of the market will complement a strong team.”
Curran says: “I am hugely excited to be joining Aviva and looking forward to leading the life retail and partnerships team. The world of financial advice is going through a period of enormous change. Our role will be to help our customers and partners and to ensure that Aviva becomes the leading provider in the market. It is tremendously exciting and I cannot wait to get started.”

Come on, Bark Pamphlet, - it's impossible to run organisations the size of Aviva without these kind of roles. Get real, will you?!!!!!

Bark has a sneaking suspicion that Aviva decide on their job titles by simply throwing a load of random words into the air and seeing how they fall.
"Andy Curran? Hold on a minute... 'Strategic Intermediary Retail Life Relationship Director' - will that do you?"

A Bark reader has also tweeted to ask whether 'Ant Middle' is a real person, or whether Andy Curran will in fact be working with an ant's thorax?
